Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure on GCP.
Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for reliable data workload releases.
Automate repetitive infrastructure, monitoring, and deployment tasks using scripts.
Develop and maintain infrastructure automation and deployment tooling.
Implement and enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
Deliver high-quality software within enterprise-scale development environments.
Work with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm charts, service-mesh technology, and environment monitoring tools.

Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code is required.
Proficiency with Google Cloud is preferred; experience with AWS or Azure is also relevant.
Experience with enterprise security-management solutions, including GCP Secret Manager.
Experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD tools.
Experience creating Docker images and Kubernetes deployments.
Experience developing Helm charts, including templates, hooks, and packaging.
Working knowledge of monitoring tools such as GCO, New Relic, Prometheus, and Grafana.
Strong experience with software development processes, models, lifecycles, and methodologies.
Expert hands-on experience with Istio or a similar service-mesh product.
Experience with software development and scripting in at least one of Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, or Bash.
Experience delivering quality code in enterprise-scale development environments.
