Base Salary
$135k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, run, and own infrastructure and automation to detect, contain, and eradicate security threats
- Develop alerting and detection strategies for malicious or anomalous behavior
- Create defensive techniques to identify or counter changes in adversary tactics and techniques
- Dissect network, host, memory, and other artifacts from multiple operating systems and applications
- Investigate enterprise-wide operations to uncover sophisticated and undetected threats
- Partner with the Information Security team to improve the company’s network defense posture
Requirements
- At least 3 years of extensive security experience with at least one major platform such as AWS, Azure, Windows, OS X, or Linux
- Proficiency in Python, PowerShell, or a similar language
- Active TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility to obtain one
- Broad security exposure, including a strong background in forensics or threat intelligence, is valued
- Deep exposure to incident response or detection engineering is valued
- Strong working knowledge of TCP/IP networking and common protocols is valued
- Substantive contributions to the information security community, such as conference talks, blog posts, or public tool development, are valued
