Responsibilities
- Design and evolve scalable PHP API architecture alongside fellow Engineers.
- Translate complex business requirements into clean, idiomatic Go solutions in collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers.
- Build high-performance, low-latency APIs using Go concurrency mechanisms such as goroutines and channels.
- Own technical initiatives from initial design through production release.
- Optimize MySQL data access and Redis caching layers.
- Promote testing, pair programming, automated delivery pipelines, and high code quality.
- Mentor other developers through code reviews and collaborative work.
- Explore GenAI tools for development workflows and modern product features.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of practical backend engineering experience.
- Strong modern PHP 8+ experience with frameworks such as Symfony or Laravel.
- Proven experience writing clean, idiomatic Go and using goroutines and channels for concurrent, high-performance APIs.
- Solid understanding of software development principles, clean architecture, and distributed systems design.
- Strong MySQL skills including indexing and query tuning, plus Redis caching patterns and data structures.
- Practical experience or active interest in using GenAI tools for development workflows or product features.
- Ability to independently deliver complex technical work from initial design through production.
- Fluent English, a collaborative working style, strong code quality standards, and enthusiasm for mentoring.
