Responsibilities
- Own architectural decisions for how features are built, safely released, and supported long term.
- Lead multi-quarter developer platform and tooling projects, defining milestones, success criteria, and trade-offs.
- Mentor engineers through code review and design partnership.
- Partner with leadership to shape the roadmap and technical strategy.
- Own the operational health, maintenance, iteration, and deprecation of platform systems.
- Set the technical direction for the area and anticipate challenges over a 12-month-plus horizon.
- Lead adoption of AI-powered developer tools and capabilities across the engineering organization.
- Integrate and operate third-party services, APIs, SaaS tools, and external platforms in internal systems.
Requirements
- At least seven years of software engineering experience, including two to three years working at senior or staff level.
- Hands-on experience building and operating developer platforms, CI/CD systems, observability or metrics infrastructure, code quality automation, testing infrastructure, or developer tooling.
- Experience shipping infrastructure or tooling that measurably improved developer velocity or reduced cognitive load.
- Previous experience leading adoption of AI-powered developer tools across an engineering organization.
- Experience in a high-performing scale-up or established engineering organization building for other engineers.
- Experience integrating third-party services with attention to reliability, security, and user experience.
- Experience owning large technical areas end to end and connecting platform work to commercial outcomes.
- Ability to lead technical direction, make trade-offs, influence requirements, and collaborate with leadership.

- Salary starts at EUR/GBP/CHF 130.000 base plus equity in the form of RSUs.
