Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end features from user experience through backend code.
- Build and maintain Java/Spring Boot services and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript front-end components.
- Use approved AI coding assistants for code generation, refactoring, debugging, and unit/integration testing, with human review and validation.
- Integrate LLM APIs, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, and project-approved retrieval or vector-store frameworks.
- Evaluate generated and AI-enabled code for correctness, security, concurrency, dependency risk, performance, prompt-injection resistance, latency, cost, and sensitive-data handling.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Lead development best-practice efforts, mentor junior team members, and coordinate cross-functional communication.
- Debug, test, optimize, and support scalable application deployments.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience in Java Full Stack Development.
- Proficiency in Java Full Stack Development.
- Strong experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
- Experience with Java/Spring Boot services, LLM APIs, structured outputs, and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Understanding of backend development, RESTful APIs, and database management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, deployment strategies, agile development environments, and version control systems.
- Experience debugging, testing, and optimizing code for performance and security.
- Knowledge of capital markets and investment management, including securities, trading, portfolio management, investment operations, and related financial-services processes.
- Hands-on experience with approved coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, including context-rich prompting, generated-code review, and automated test validation.
- 15 years of full-time education required.
