Responsibilities
- Design and build highly scalable Java-based B2B integration platforms and infrastructure-as-code components.
- Develop middleware and backend applications using Java or Python and frameworks such as Apache Camel.
- Work with Oracle or similar relational databases and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Apply knowledge of HTTP/S, TCP, DNS, load balancing, JVMs, operating systems, networking, and security protocols.
- Tune application and database performance and contribute to distributed, cloud-connected enterprise architectures.
- Collaborate across business and technical teams and lead large innovation-focused projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- More than 3 years of experience building frameworks with middleware such as Apache Camel.
- More than 4 years of Java or Python programming experience building middleware or backend applications.
- More than 3 years of experience with Oracle or similar relational databases and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Strong understanding of HTTP/S, TCP, DNS, load balancing, JVM, operating systems, networking, TLS/SSL, SSH/SFTP, PKI, X.509, and PGP.
- Hands-on experience tuning application and database performance.
- Familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals, cloud-based integrations, Agile development methodology, and leading large innovation-focused projects is preferred.
- Strong communication, ownership, accountability, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills are preferred.
