Responsibilities
- Lead the technical roadmap for the data platform team.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and knowledge sharing on coding and design best practices.
- Design and implement new features and bug fixes using Java.
- Monitor production systems and support operational excellence.
- Develop and maintain multithreaded programs and Linux-based systems.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on Java experience in enterprise projects.
- Strong knowledge of Java best practices, dependency injection, unit testing frameworks, multithreading, and the Java memory model.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux-based systems, including system programming and practical system monitoring.
- Deep experience with SQL and PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and data analytics products such as BigQuery is preferred.
- Previous experience working on a data platform team is helpful.
- Experience with Apache Flink is preferred.
- Must be based in Bangalore or willing to relocate to Bangalore.
