Base Salary
$145k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Frame business problems and lead early conversations to identify the problems worth solving.
- Own and maintain end-to-end solution designs as work evolves.
- Translate business needs into engineering requirements and explain engineering output to business stakeholders.
- Define success measures with the Engagement Manager and engineers before development begins.
- Build technically difficult solution components alongside engineers.
- Apply healthcare or higher education domain knowledge to solution design.
- Facilitate discussions and communicate effectively with executives.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years of experience in solution architecture, technical or experience design, or applied-AI advisory, including 1 to 2 years leading.
- Ability to turn ambiguous problems into designs engineers can build.
- Working knowledge of RAG, agents, and evaluation design.
- Experience with process mapping and service design.
- Healthcare or higher education domain depth is preferred.
- AWS or Azure Solutions Architect, TOGAF, CBAP (BABOK), or Claude Certified Architect - Foundations certification is preferred.
- Strong writing and facilitation skills and executive credibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Must be based onshore in the US or Canada for healthcare work and able to travel as needed.
