Base Salary
$115k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and lifecycle management of consumer banking and credit-servicing applications.
- Architect full-stack applications using cloud-native, microservices, J2EE, Spring, and RESTful API technologies.
- Design data models for complex business processes and drive application modernization and migration strategy.
- Lead technology adoption and migrations while mentoring and influencing developers and multiple Agile teams.
- Drive the CI/CD strategy using Jenkins, Bitbucket, and uDeploy.
- Lead technical Agile sprint activities, including planning, standups, backlog grooming, and reviews.
- Ensure code quality through development, testing, and QA while maintaining architecture, security, and technology standards.
- Analyze production defects, incidents, and root causes; troubleshoot systems and implement fixes and performance improvements.
- Collaborate with software developers, UX designers, product managers, architects, customer experts, and third-party vendors.
- Provide periodic 24x7 on-call support and perform assigned special projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 8 years of software engineering experience, or a high school diploma/GED and 10 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 6 years of application development experience.
- Experience developing with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.
- Experience building and consuming SOAP and REST web services.
- Experience with continuous integration environments and writing unit, integration, and UI tests.
- Experience with responsive web design, cross-device support, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Splunk, database architecture and modeling, MySQL, SQL, and GemFire.
- Familiarity with JSON, REST, and XML-based web services and the mobile industry.
- Experience developing and supporting financial or banking applications.
- Experience using developer AI tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Strong technical communication, critical thinking, creativity, problem-solving, analytical, interpersonal, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to travel for business as required and satisfy U.S. work authorization, background investigation, fingerprinting, drug testing, and applicable regulatory requirements.
