Responsibilities
- Define automation architecture, testing standards, and end-to-end quality engineering initiatives.
- Design, develop, and maintain UI, API, and E2E automated test suites using Playwright and C#.
- Enhance automation frameworks, tools, utilities, and design patterns.
- Embed quality gates and test automation throughout the CI/CD pipeline.
- Perform manual verification and validation of features, enhancements, and defect fixes.
- Provide code review feedback to Development and QA teams and mentor team members.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, and Operations to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Conduct performance, load, stress, and scalability testing using JMeter.
- Support product releases and provide third-level production support.
- Research testing technologies and industry best practices to improve software quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience in software automation testing or software development.
- Expertise in UI and API test automation using Playwright with C#.
- Experience with BDD-based automation frameworks such as SpecFlow.
- Experience authoring and maintaining API and E2E automated test suites.
- Experience testing complex, distributed, cloud-based solutions and executing automation at scale.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Exposure to AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot.
- Proficiency in C# or another object-oriented programming language.
- Experience with performance and scalability testing, including JMeter scripting and execution.
