Base Salary
$153k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build intuitive, stable Android experiences using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs.
- Lead product features from ideation and technical design through implementation, testing, and release.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Backend Engineers, Data Scientists, and platform partners.
- Champion engineering practices that support code quality, scalability, performance, reliability, safety, and maintainability.
- Mentor junior developers and help improve team standards and collaboration.
- Own features for the standalone Trump Accounts mobile experience from concept through launch.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional experience developing Android applications.
- Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java and strong knowledge of the Android SDK.
- Experience with MVVM, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow or RxJava, Retrofit, and Room.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a product-focused mindset.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor peers, lead complex projects, and influence architecture decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
