Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance application systems and programs in coordination with technology teams.
- Analyze code and applications, identify system enhancements and vulnerabilities, and conduct testing and debugging.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology groups; recommend programming solutions; and install and support applications.
- Identify and resolve issues by evaluating information, selecting solutions, and applying acquired technical experience.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and act as a subject-matter expert for stakeholders and team members.
- Assess and manage technology and compliance risks while escalating and reporting control issues transparently.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
- Intermediate-level experience in applications development.
- Expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Angular, React, JSON, REST APIs, and microservices.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines or changing requirements.
