Base Salary
$230k - $385k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build core abstractions for trusted execution environments and end-to-end encryption.
- Develop product features for private inference and storage across ChatGPT, the API, and future consumer devices.
- Update build systems to increase trust and verifiability.
- Integrate with safety and integrity infrastructure.
- Operate systems at scale with high reliability and participate in an on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, security, safety, policy, and legal teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience building and scaling confidential computing or encryption technologies in production environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes and cloud orchestration systems.
- Ability to build and operate scalable, reliable, and secure systems.
- Strong collaboration and alignment skills across complex trade-offs and ambiguous environments.
