Responsibilities
- Lead the ground-up re-architecture and development of robust risk and regulatory software platforms.
- Apply governance to solution design, code quality, and coding standards.
- Drive scalable, maintainable, performant, highly available, and multi-browser-compatible systems.
- Act as a technical escalation point for the team during and outside office hours.
- Monitor team adherence, output, and delivery quality.
- Manage work estimation and produce solution documentation.
- Understand and communicate system structure, domain, and architecture.
- Collaborate with managers, architects, and other stakeholders on fit-for-purpose solutions.
- Oversee technical solutions from development through production at a low level.
- Mentor and coach team members and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- Commercial experience leading development solutions.
- Knowledge of Kafka, SQL, .NET, Golang, or TypeScript.
- Effective team-member mentoring and coaching skills.
- Technical documentation skills.
- A proven track record developing highly available, multi-browser-compatible software.
- Experience with highly available, multiuser, service-based systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant discipline.
