Responsibilities
- Design and implement test automation strategies and frameworks.
- Build continuous test environments with software development teams and improve application testability.
- Perform QA automation and testing using Cucumber for Java, Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI, and Postman.
- Test REST- and SOAP-based web services and work with JSON, XML, and HTTP.
- Use SQL, Unix scripting, Git, Python, and Pandas in automation and data-related testing activities.
- Apply ETL techniques and frameworks and contribute to research and development initiatives and proof-of-concepts.
- Develop clean, coherent code following established coding guidelines and collaborate with global Assurance teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- A pursuing bachelor's degree such as BE, BTech, or MCA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, or a related field.
- 4 to 7 years of experience designing and implementing test automation strategies and frameworks.
- Expert-level knowledge of QA automation processes and testing methodology.
- Strong experience with Cucumber for Java, Selenium, Cucumber, SoapUI, and Postman.
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP web service standards and strong understanding of JSON, XML, and HTTP.
- Experience with messaging middleware technologies, SQL, Unix scripting, Git, ETL techniques and frameworks, Python, and Pandas.
- Demonstrated ability to solve complex software development and design issues using clean, coherent code.
- Strong analytical, written, verbal, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in an Agile development environment and ability to quickly learn new technologies.
