Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software components and systems.
- Lead and mentor junior test engineers while providing technical guidance and promoting software quality best practices.
- Develop and maintain automated test suites and automate testing processes using relevant frameworks and tools.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, integration, API, UI, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, track, and help resolve software defects with development teams.
- Collaborate with product management, development, and other stakeholders to define testing scope and understand requirements.
- Analyze test results, produce reports, and provide feedback to improve product quality and development efficiency.
- Contribute to improvements in testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2/Layer 3 switches, VLANs, routing, network security settings, and related infrastructure for integrated testing.
- Validate data pipelines, models, and AI-enabled applications and support testing involving object storage, data lakehouse architectures, and modern data platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5–9 years of progressive experience in software development test engineering, with a strong focus on automation.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, Java, C#, or JavaScript.
- Extensive experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Understanding of software development methodologies and quality assurance principles.
- Experience with functional, non-functional, API, and UI testing.
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, defect tracking systems such as Jira or Azure DevOps, and test management tools.
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting managed switches, VLANs, TCP/IP networking, routing, and related connectivity technologies.
- Experience with object storage technologies, data lakehouse architectures, and modern data platforms supporting analytics, machine learning, and AI-driven solutions.
- Familiarity with AI/ML workflows, data engineering concepts, and validation of data pipelines, models, and AI-enabled applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, debugging, communication, interpersonal, leadership, independent-work, and collaboration skills.
