Base Salary
$180k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and operate production AWS infrastructure for financial services workloads.
- Own and evolve the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategy using Terraform.
- Lead Kubernetes (EKS) platform strategy and improvements.
- Design and drive CI/CD platform enhancements for application teams.
- Define and implement observability strategies across the platform.
- Serve as a senior on-call escalation point for production incidents.
- Own networking architecture decisions and security standards.
- Define strategies for AI/ML infrastructure and developer productivity.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to engineering leadership.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to hiring and onboarding processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure engineering, particularly with AWS.
- Proven track record of driving infrastructure initiatives from design to operational excellence.
- Expert-level proficiency with Terraform and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
- Strong Linux systems engineering skills and advanced scripting proficiency.
- Deep understanding of cloud networking and security best practices.
- Experience designing and operating observability platforms at scale.
- Excellent technical communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and elevate team capabilities.
