Responsibilities
- Support the Python development process and contribute to the successful execution of customer projects.
- Develop and integrate backend APIs.
- Test code and applications to ensure quality and performance.
- Participate in DevOps team activities, daily calls, and project communications.
- Maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle and work independently on assignments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software development.
- At least 3 years of experience in backend software development.
- Strong Python skills and good PHP knowledge.
- Experience with Git, Docker or Podman, Jenkins, and development delivery practices.
- Experience with API development and integration.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in multicultural environments.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Problem-solving attitude, initiative, commitment, and willingness to ask for help.
- Basic understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, SD-WAN, and IT security concepts is advantageous.
- Experience with Python test automation using pytest or unittest is advantageous.
- German language skills are advantageous.
