Responsibilities
- Develop new risk applications and enhance existing applications using Java.
- Design and develop distributed data-processing and calculation solutions for large datasets.
- Write and maintain complex SQL queries and work with large-scale data.
- Contribute to application and data-model design.
- Apply DevOps practices and modern software-development methodologies.
- Help shape the technology and tooling landscape of Risk Management.
- Support technology solutions that improve business processes and help meet regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams in an international environment.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge and practical experience with Java.
- Solid SQL skills, including the ability to write and understand complex SQL queries.
- Experience in application and data-model design.
- Practical experience with Agile software-development methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of an international team.
- Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and concepts.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale databases, Risk Management or Financial Risk, and DevOps tools and practices.
