Responsibilities
- Design and deliver secure API integrations with external platforms using Python and FastAPI.
- Build and maintain microservices for real-time data ingestion, processing, and synchronization.
- Ensure compliance with external API security and performance requirements.
- Implement logging, monitoring, alerting, dashboards, and metrics to support reliability.
- Define and maintain normalized data models for work order structures across systems.
- Ensure data consistency and quality across integrations.
- Develop, maintain, and automate CI/CD pipelines for AWS deployment.
- Deliver automated unit and integration tests and document technical details clearly.
Requirements
- Expert-level experience with Python and microservice design, preferably FastAPI.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch.
- Strong knowledge of logging, monitoring, and observability tools such as Datadog, ELK, or AWS CloudWatch.
- Experience designing scalable data models and managing API performance under rate limits.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated tests.
- Strong communication skills for documenting and explaining technical details.
- A four-year degree is not required; practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with leadership principles are valued.
