Base Salary
$145k - $176k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, debug, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available, fault-tolerant production applications.
- Lead architecture design, influence product roadmaps, own new projects, and establish engineering standards.
- Lead code and design reviews, technical projects, sprint planning, delegation, and developer mentoring.
- Investigate and resolve production issues, participate in on-call rotations, and monitor system health.
- Identify bottlenecks, optimize performance, and improve automation and service operability.
- Modernize legacy applications and manage technologies, environment configurations, and application requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, designers, product owners, customers, and business stakeholders to deliver software products.
- Provide training and technical support to internal teams and advance AI-assisted engineering, prompt engineering, and context engineering practices.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of software development-related experience, or 8 years with an advanced degree.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Mandatory marketing technology experience, specifically cookies and platform integrations.
- Backend experience with Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Hibernate; Python is used for basic scripting.
- Required AWS experience, specifically EKS, Cognito, and batch jobs.
- Experience with Vue.js or React and leading modernization efforts from AngularJS.
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, cloud-native infrastructure, microservices architecture, and API-first development.
- Advanced experience building and deploying applications with Kubernetes and OpenTelemetry.
- Ability to lead complex cross-functional technical projects, deliver organization-wide impact, and participate in on-call rotations.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree and experience with SaaS products, technology or financial industries, and Amazon Web Services.
