Base Salary
$168k - $227k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical vision and multi-year roadmap for major CloudWatch Logs areas.
- Lead the design and architecture of complex, high-scale distributed systems.
- Mentor and develop engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and technical coaching.
- Identify high-leverage systemic improvements and align the team around solving them.
- Partner with senior leadership to convert customer and business priorities into technical strategy and commitments.
- Drive architectural-level operational excellence by eliminating recurring classes of issues.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including reliability and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team leader.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
