Responsibilities
- Define customer strategy and identify new complex opportunities.
- Provide thought leadership and act as a trusted advisor for key stakeholders.
- Understand customer business objectives and design solutions accordingly.
- Conduct business analysis and research on customers and competitors.
- Lead strategy engagements to align solutions with business priorities.
- Expand Stripe's footprint within existing accounts and new markets.
- Act as the voice of the customer to provide insights to leadership.
- Participate in sales forecasting and account planning.
- Provide technical insight and solutions to prospective users.
- Manage pre-sales projects and ensure proposed solutions are viable.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in a customer-facing engineering role.
- Strong executive engagement skills and ability to build credibility.
- Effective group-facilitation skills for leading customer meetings.
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architecture.
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills.
- Comprehensive understanding of Stripe's Connect solution.
- In-depth knowledge of Stripe's Payments and Billing systems.
- Ability to understand interactions within a platform technology stack.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
