Responsibilities
- Develop and drive an architectural vision for agent development.
- Participate as a technical voice in FinTech product strategy discussions.
- Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to deliver Team agent products.
- Work with other Senior Principal Engineers to enhance agent patterns across Toast.
- Evolve efficient working methods through agents and disseminate them across the company.
- Mentor and develop technical leadership within the Team and Fintech.
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in designing and building scalable distributed software systems.
- 10+ years of experience in building and operating SaaS products, preferably AWS hosted.
- Strong desire to engage in agentic development practices.
- Passion for building autonomous agents.
- Proven ability to drive technical architecture for scalable product lines.
- Ability to communicate and influence at the executive level.
