Deloitte AdvisoryResponsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot Java-based enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle.
- Build scalable backend services, front-end interfaces, microservices, event-driven services, and high-performance RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Develop and automate unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to maintain code quality.
- Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for service orchestration.
- Build and deploy code through CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and OpenShift.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical leadership, and Agile/Scrum teams to deliver sprint goals and align solutions with technical strategy.
- Document solutions, contribute to technical and team standards, and participate in the broader technical community.
- Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and propose AI-informed product approaches.
- Analyze application, coding, design, and performance issues; conduct root-cause analysis and implement defect resolutions.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, manage escalations, and streamline recurring architecture, delivery, operations, and business processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree.
- At least 8 years of software development experience, specializing in Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Spring Boot, and Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of application architecture, data structures, object-oriented principles, service-oriented architecture, microservices, event-driven services, and cloud-native application development.
- Full-stack development experience covering Java or Python backend systems and front-end development with React, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, relational database management systems, Oracle, REST, and GraphQL.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, build and deployment tools, Docker, Jenkins, OpenShift, and preferably AWS.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies and project management tools such as JIRA.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with code versioning tools, including GitHub Enterprise.
- Practical experience using AI tools to enhance software development workflows and awareness of evolving AI technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, risk management, and technical collaboration skills.
