Responsibilities
- Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot scalable Java-based full-stack applications.
- Develop backend services, APIs, microservices, event-driven services, and frontend interfaces using Java, React, HTML5, and CSS.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle, including solution design, documentation, coding, testing, deployment, and production issue resolution.
- Build and deploy applications using CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Maven or Gradle, Jenkins, and OpenShift.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical leadership, and Agile delivery teams to achieve sprint goals and technical strategy objectives.
- Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and propose AI-informed product approaches.
- Conduct root-cause analysis, resolve defects and performance issues, and identify and mitigate technical risks.
- Streamline or automate recurring processes across architecture, build, delivery, production operations, and business areas.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology.
- Minimum of 8 years of software development experience specializing in Java, JavaScript frameworks such as React, Spring Boot, and Oracle.
- Strong knowledge of modern application architecture, data structures, object-oriented programming, service-oriented architecture, microservices, and cloud-native development.
- Full-stack experience developing frontend and backend components with Java, Python or similar languages, React, HTML5, and CSS.
- Experience designing and implementing RESTful and GraphQL APIs, event-driven services, SQL and PL/SQL, and relational database systems, particularly Oracle.
- Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and related tools including Maven, Gradle, Docker, Jenkins, and OpenShift; AWS experience is advantageous.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing and with GitHub Enterprise.
- Practical experience working in Agile and Scrum environments and using JIRA.
- Experience with Docker containerization and Kubernetes orchestration.
- Practical experience using AI tools to enhance software development workflows and the ability to evaluate emerging AI approaches.
