Base Salary
$212k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive technical engagements with strategic GenAI partners and deliver solutions to complex technical problems.
- Design, build, and integrate end-to-end generative AI systems and launch plans.
- Ship production-level code, conduct code reviews, and improve code based on feedback.
- Create technical content, tools, documentation, case studies, courses, and best practices for developers and partners.
- Collaborate with product teams and cross-functional stakeholders to influence workflows and product roadmaps.
- Build and manage relationships with partner technical counterparts and internal teams.
- Provide domain-level generative AI consultation and communicate data-centric analyses.
- Mentor peers and participate in interviewing and onboarding team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, a relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in software engineering, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in deep learning, model fine-tuning, inference optimization, or distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience with foundational AI architectures and model internals, including weights, tokenizers, kernels, or similar components, beyond API interactions.
- Strong understanding of at least one deep learning framework and ability to contribute to large-scale inference codebases.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional technical initiatives and communicating with internal and external partners.
- Development experience in at least one of Python, Java, Go, Rust, C, or C++.
- Experience with generative AI tool stacks, cloud technologies, APIs, data integration, and external partner or customer engagements.
- Preferred qualifications include major AI open-source contributions, public model release experience, responsible AI practices, agentic frameworks, AI coding tools, AI workflow optimization, prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration, and translating current AI research into deployment code.
- A master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related technical field is preferred.
