Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI, API, and integration testing.
- Develop automated test suites using Java, Python, JavaScript, Kotlin, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Appium.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and provide fast, reliable feedback.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to identify root causes, improve testability, and prevent production defects.
- Define quality metrics and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform performance, load, and reliability testing as needed.
- Review code, contribute to architectural discussions, and champion automation-first practices.
- Mentor junior engineers on automation, tooling, and quality engineering principles.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, test automation, or software engineering.
- Strong programming skills in one or more modern languages.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks and CI/CD systems.
- Deep understanding of testing strategies for distributed systems, APIs, and modern web and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence engineering teams and drive organization-wide quality improvements.
