Responsibilities
- Define, develop, and evolve software components, features, and feature sets.
- Provide technical leadership to an agile team of 5–7 people and mentor team members.
- Translate product requirements and vision into prioritized user stories and deliver them on schedule and to quality standards.
- Collaborate with product line leaders and architects on multigeneration software technology plans.
- Write code using the selected project technologies and implement core data structures and algorithms.
- Assess application performance and drive efficiency, reuse, quality, and process improvements.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities, communicate business direction, and facilitate transfer of complex domain knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a STEM major with advanced experience for roles outside the USA.
- Experience with Python, PySpark, AWS, Glue, PostgreSQL, Lambda, S3, SQL, CodeBuild, CodePipeline, and Java.
- Ability to analyze technology choices, break down problems, document requirements, estimate efforts, and assess application performance.
- Ability to take ownership of small and medium-sized tasks, provide technical leadership, mentor teammates, and influence outcomes.
- Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, team-building, problem-solving, and delivery skills.
