Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure for training and deploying large-scale robotic foundation models.
- Build and maintain data pipelines that collect, process, and feed real-world robot data into machine-learning workflows.
- Provide accessible tools and infrastructure for ML researchers and engineers developing AI techniques for robotics.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define infrastructure requirements and deliver solutions for partners and customers.
- Guide technical direction and mentor engineers while ensuring robust and scalable data and ML infrastructure.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Computer Science.
- At least four years of experience collaborating on medium- to large-scale software projects.
- Programming experience with Python or C++.
- Experience with machine learning, including TensorFlow and JAX.
- Experience with cloud computing and containerization using Google Cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Ability to work collaboratively, set technical direction, and drive solutions.
- Preferred: PhD in Computer Science or Engineering specializing in Machine Learning and/or Robotics.
- Preferred: academic publications in Machine Learning and/or Robotics.
- Preferred: experience with robotic foundation models or vision-language-action models.
- Preferred: experience deploying ML services at scale.
