Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and evaluate technology options with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code from other developers and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, and efficiency.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their impact on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions while managing project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of software development experience, or one year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Coding experience in one or more of Java, C++, Python, Go, or JavaScript.
- Experience with the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, and testing.
- Preferred: a master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: two years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies and using automated testing frameworks.
- Preferred: proficiency troubleshooting and debugging complex production issues.
- Preferred: ability to understand broader system relationships and identify opportunities to reduce technical debt.
