Base Salary
$85k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement software for in-vehicle network bandwidth analysis, message latency tracking, and functional coupling measurement.
- Define and implement KPIs for network modeling, performance analysis, and change management.
- Develop and maintain network simulation models for predicting the impact of features and architectural changes.
- Create reports and dashboards that communicate network analysis results to architects, feature owners, and executives.
- Integrate network analysis tools and KPIs into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaborate with network architects and platform experts to validate architecture and optimization decisions.
- Establish software quality and test-driven development standards for the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience with Python, C++, or Java, focused on data analysis, tool development, or back-end systems.
- Foundational knowledge or experience with network architecture, protocols, and communication standards including Ethernet, CAN, and LIN.
- Experience developing analytical tools and defining system-performance KPIs.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development, including tools such as Gherkin.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, at least 1 year of experience with network analysis and simulation tools, and at least 1 year developing tools for embedded systems.
- Preferred experience includes data science, statistical analysis, machine learning, Django, PostgreSQL, Autosar Classic and Adaptive architecture, DBC, and ARXML.
