Base Salary
$85k - $193k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable software for in-vehicle network bandwidth analysis, message latency tracking, and functional coupling measurement.
- Define KPIs for network modeling, performance analysis, and change management.
- Develop and maintain network simulation models for what-if analysis and performance prediction.
- Create reports and dashboards that communicate network analysis results to architects, feature owners, and executive leadership.
- Integrate network analysis tools and KPIs into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Collaborate with network architects and platform experts to validate architecture and optimize vehicle network performance.
- Establish software quality, test-driven development, and agile standards for the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience using Python, C++, or Java, focused on data analysis, tool development, or back-end systems.
- Foundational knowledge or experience with network architecture, protocols, and communication standards including Ethernet, CAN, and LIN.
- Experience developing analytical tools and defining system performance KPIs.
- Experience with test-driven development, including Gherkin specifications.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, network analysis and simulation experience, embedded systems tool development, Django, PostgreSQL, data science, statistical analysis, machine learning, Autosar Classic and Adaptive, DBC, and ARXML.
