Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Deliver large projects and new product capabilities while maintaining key code repositories.
- Design, build, and operate identity and account management systems, including registration, authentication, authorization, MFA, social login, account linking, and identity-provider integrations.
- Architect and implement scalable, performant APIs and data models, and profile systems to identify scaling bottlenecks.
- Break down complex problems, deliver predictable solutions, and identify and resolve incident root causes.
- Collaborate on technical roadmaps and execute strategies balancing short-term and long-term trade-offs.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, pairing, and onboarding support.
- Integrate AI technologies to automate processes and enhance product features.
- Improve maintainability, availability, performance, architecture, and developer tooling.
- Communicate technical ideas clearly and document solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of non-internship full-time professional software development experience.
- At least 4 years of experience with a software programming language and at least 4 years across the full software development life cycle.
- Experience delivering large software projects or features in production.
- Proficiency in a modern programming language such as Go, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Practical knowledge of cloud-based services and technologies such as gRPC, protobufs, Temporal, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Experience building or maintaining user identity, authentication, or account management systems.
- Hands-on experience with an identity provider such as Auth0, Okta, or a comparable platform, including OIDC, SAML, SSO, passwordless or social authentication, and identity-provider APIs.
- Experience with data ingestion, integration, and security is a plus.
- Preferred qualifications include Auth0 depth, IAM concepts, MFA, entity resolution, credential lifecycle management, Temporal or similar workflow engines, AI-assisted software development, mentoring, distributed systems, cloud infrastructure, scalable architectures, healthcare technology, regulated environments, and Agile development practices.
