Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain full-stack web applications across React/TypeScript interfaces, Java services and APIs, and SQL and NoSQL database components.
- Lead or contribute to the design, development, deployment, and delivery of complex software features and projects.
- Participate in architecture and design reviews focused on scalability, reliability, maintainability, performance, and quality.
- Review code, provide technical feedback, and maintain standards for observability, maintainability, and automated testing.
- Build and automate unit, integration, API, and end-to-end tests using tools including JUnit, React Testing Library, Cucumber, and Selenium.
- Monitor application and service health, resolve issues, optimize performance, and support production systems across the development lifecycle.
- Document features and fixes, create training materials, share knowledge, collaborate with Product Management and UX, and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of professional software development experience.
- Strong experience building full-stack web applications using Java, React/TypeScript, and SQL.
- Experience developing REST APIs, integrating them with front-end applications, and working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Extensive knowledge of software development practices and design patterns.
- Experience using AI development tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Windsurf.
- Proficiency with GitHub and Jira, plus an understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.
- Experience with automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, including tools such as JUnit, React Testing Library, Selenium, and Cucumber.
- Preferred experience with Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, API test automation, accessible and internationalized applications, and AI spec-driven development with Spec Kit.
- Experience mentoring engineers or providing technical leadership is preferred; strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
