Base Salary
$93k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Facilitate adherence to architecture standards and patterns.
- Oversee architecture for program-level initiatives and provide governance for federated architecture.
- Define non-functional requirements for scalability, reliability, performance, and maintainability.
- Analyze business requirements and design system integration patterns.
- Partner with business and IT leadership to identify efficiencies and maintain product-level technology roadmaps.
- Provide direction and alignment for Application Architects.
- Identify technical constraints and technical debt and recommend paths to resolution.
- Influence technology and vendor decisions.
- Design and evaluate proofs of concept and prototypes.
- Develop conceptual and logical architecture solutions, use cases, standards, patterns, and non-functional requirement definitions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of equivalent experience as a Solution Architect or in related work.
- At least seven years of professional IT experience, preferably as an architect.
- At least five years of experience working as a Solution Architect across multiple architecture domains.
- Preferred: 10 or more years of professional IT experience, preferably as an architect.
- Understanding of general architecture principles and experience with cloud solution enablement, preferably GCP and/or AWS.
- One to three or more years of experience with AI models, LLMs, AI/ML, or tool automation.
- Experience with SOA, microservices, modern web application frameworks, and professional software development.
- Ability to apply architecture principles to Agile and Waterfall delivery and provide direction on small- to large-sized initiatives.
- Banking industry experience, including regulation and risk, is preferred.
- Knowledge of ArchiMate Enterprise Architecture Modeling Language and experience with TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks are preferred.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, organizational, problem-solving, planning, scoping, estimating, and trusted-advisor skills.
