Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize cloud infrastructure across Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
- Develop infrastructure as code frameworks using Terraform, CloudFormation, and ARM templates.
- Automate application deployments, configuration changes, testing, monitoring, and scaling processes.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to improve cloud reliability and proactively address issues.
- Optimize cloud resource usage and costs through consumption monitoring and auto-scaling.
- Ensure cloud environments are reliable, scalable, and secure.
- Mentor Cloud engineers and provide guidance and operational support.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud strategy and align infrastructure with organizational goals.
- Stay current with cloud technologies, automation tools, and industry practices.
Requirements
- Proficiency with DevOps and SRE tooling, including PowerShell and Python.
- Extensive knowledge of PaaS and IaaS cloud services, including compute, storage, integration services, containers, Kubernetes, virtual machines, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, and Windows and Linux server administration.
- Experience with Terraform, Terraform Cloud, ARM Templates, and CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, including GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and Octopus Deploy.
- Ability to design cloud architectures for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Azure Monitor, and Splunk.
- Knowledge of cloud security practices and tools such as Wiz and Snyk.
- Understanding of cloud networking concepts and techniques.
- Demonstrated experience as a Cloud Automation Engineer or in a similar infrastructure automation role.
- Knowledge of DevOps principles and practices, including Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong communication, decision-making, problem-solving, teamwork, technical design, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Mexico.
