Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, high-performance regulatory reporting solutions.
- Build Spark-based applications, preferably using Scala.
- Develop and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines covering data transfer, validation, and business logic.
- Integrate data from multiple sources and support a microservices-based architecture.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Analysts, and geographically distributed cross-functional teams.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, unit testing, automation, peer reviews, and continuous delivery.
- Document solutions using JIRA, Confluence, and ALM.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software or data engineering experience, preferably in financial services.
- Hands-on experience with Apache Spark and Scala.
- Strong experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Knowledge of integration solutions, APIs, and microservices.
- Familiarity with Big Data technologies and SQL databases.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and Jenkins for CI/CD.
- Professional English proficiency at B2+ level.
- Preferred experience with Python, Bash scripting, Airflow, or Control-M.
- Preferred familiarity with Azure, AWS, Databricks, S3, Kubernetes, Docker, or EMR.
- Preferred understanding of cybersecurity and quality assurance basics, including Sonar.
- Preferred knowledge of HP ALM and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
