Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Pega-based solutions for enhancements and new service requests.
- Design scalable, reusable Pega application architectures using enterprise standards and best practices.
- Design and automate complex workflows with Pega Case Management.
- Create user-centric interfaces using Pega User Experience principles.
- Integrate Pega applications with internal and external systems through APIs, connectors, and services.
- Develop and maintain Pega reports and dashboards.
- Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing, debugging, and production troubleshooting.
- Perform root-cause analysis and provide technical support for Pega applications.
- Document development processes, configurations, technical designs, and changes.
- Contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
- Mentor junior developers on Pega practices, coding standards, and application lifecycle management.
- Stay current with Pega platform releases and recommend improvements.
Requirements
- Three to seven years of hands-on Pega development experience with Pega PRPC or Pega Platform 7.x/8.x or later.
- Strong knowledge of Pega Case Management, Application Development, Data and Integration, User Experience, and Reporting.
- Experience with Pega rulesets, class structures, decision rules, flows, and security models.
- Experience integrating Pega with external systems through REST/SOAP APIs, connectors, and services.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments; PegaSCRUM experience is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Certified Pega System Architect certification is mandatory.
- Certified Pega Senior System Architect certification is preferred.
- Exposure to Pega Decision Hub, Pega Mobility, or Pega RPA is a plus.
- Domain exposure to BFSI, insurance, healthcare, or asset and wealth management is advantageous.
