Base Salary
$160k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to the architecture, design, and optimization of the iOS SDK.
- Profile, debug, and improve memory usage, CPU consumption, and overall runtime efficiency.
- Design stable public APIs and produce documentation for developers.
- Strengthen test coverage with various testing methodologies.
- Co-own mobile CI/CD workflows for reliable releases.
- Investigate production issues and implement long-term safeguards.
- Advocate for best practices around integration and performance.
- Participate in cross-team technical planning.
- Evangelize the SDK and educate teams on its capabilities.
- Contribute to building an engineering culture focused on clarity and ownership.
Requirements
- Strong debugging skills and proficiency with native profiling tools.
- Deep understanding of memory allocation, leaks, and CPU usage.
- Experience building asynchronous and multithreaded architectures.
- Ability to design and document public SDK APIs.
- Strong unit testing mindset and experience with edge cases.
- Familiarity with mobile CI/CD pipelines.
- Effective communication with cross-functional teams.
- Experience writing and debugging UI automation tests.
- Familiarity with feature flagging and controlled rollout strategies.
- Deep experience with WKWebView and proficiency with Swift.
