Base Salary
$180k - $330k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create intuitive and delightful Android user experiences, including polished pixels, animations, and interactions.
- Build fast, highly performant systems and optimize application performance, stability, and reliability.
- Drive technical and product decisions while collaborating with designers, backend engineers, iOS engineers, and web engineers.
- Own product quality by running A/B tests, finding issues, and proactively making improvements.
- Use user feedback and personal product experience to identify opportunities to improve the app.
- Take projects and problems from idea through production release.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Flow.
- Deep expertise in the Android stack, Android platform, and Android tooling such as Android Studio and Gradle.
- Proven track record delivering projects in production applications, including large-scale apps with millions of daily active users.
- Strong product sense and ability to use analytics and metrics to guide product decisions.
- Experience beyond Android, such as iOS, web, or backend development.
- Strong ownership, autonomy, communication, and ability to explain technical trade-offs.
- Ability to build intuitive user experiences and optimize for performance, stability, and reliability.
