Responsibilities
- Develop and test products for importing, editing, reviewing, analyzing, and searching video assets and associated metadata.
- Design new features collaboratively within a client/server/cloud product ecosystem.
- Execute regression tests, verify bug fixes, and provide user-experience feedback.
- Create, manage, and maintain automated end-to-end and component-level test suites.
- Write test cases, clear documentation, and reproducible bug reports.
- Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and DevOps in an agile Scrum team.
- Contribute to sprint retrospectives and quarterly planning, and improve development, testing, and planning processes.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience testing desktop applications in a client/server environment.
- At least 2 years of experience using Jira or similar agile software development tools to log bugs, communicate status, and collaborate.
- Experience with Node.js and TypeScript.
- Experience with modern web automation tooling, preferably Playwright, for end-to-end and component-level testing.
- Experience with a modern unit/component test runner, preferably Vitest.
- Experience integrating tests with CI/CD, preferably using GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of agile software development methodologies.
- Ability to collaborate with QA and Engineering teams and independently learn new technologies and tools.
- Experience testing mobile cloud applications is a plus.
- Experience in the sports industry or with video or audio editing software is a plus.
