Responsibilities
- Organize and provide input in FS/TP reviews and maintain up-to-date TP/TC documentation.
- Apply documented QA practices and standards independently on new or special assignments.
- Perform root-cause isolation, reproduce bugs, document problems, and attach appropriate logs and files.
- Participate in bug scrubs with development and product management teams and support customer escalations.
- Present protocols, technologies, and products to internal or external audiences.
- Provide technical guidance and occasional mentoring to junior team members and supervise other QA engineers when needed.
- Collaborate clearly with QA, development, product management, and support groups.
Requirements
- Understand functional, performance, stress, and other testing methodologies.
- Have good knowledge of the software development life cycle.
- Have experience with scripting and automation frameworks; Python is a plus.
- Have a good understanding of networking protocols and devices.
- Be familiar with debugging tools and techniques.
- Demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
