Base Salary

$115k - $235k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customer engineering and OCI engineering leadership to ensure customer success.
  • Own complex infrastructure problems, identify solutions, and drive issues through resolution.
  • Design cloud resources, distributed computing systems, and data storage solutions supporting customer workflows.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure performance, scalability, reliability, and downtime risks.
  • Lead initiatives across engineering, operations, and leadership with minimal supervision.
  • Document infrastructure designs, configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8+ years of distributed cloud engineering experience in a software development environment.
  • Development experience with Java, C++, C#, and scripting languages.
  • Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong Linux administration skills across Oracle Linux, RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian, including package management, shell scripting, and performance optimization.
  • Experience collaborating with cloud platform teams across compute, networking, storage, and identity.
  • Understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and infrastructure best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills.

  • The US hiring range is $114,600 to $234,600 per annum, with potential bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
