Base Salary
$220k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect component libraries, shared abstractions, and foundational TypeScript and React code
- Build tooling and infrastructure that help feature teams maintain quality and velocity
- Drive high-quality engineering practices through code review, documentation, and hands-on collaboration
- Scale reusable component libraries with a consistent and accessible user experience
- Write tests, documentation, and structured briefs for reliable agentic development workflows
- Identify pain points and implement incremental technical refactors
- Design and build highly interactive, performant experiences for exploring and listening to music
- Improve product performance, accessibility, and overall craft
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience shipping production web applications
- Advanced expertise in TypeScript, React, NextJS, and CSS
- Experience building complex, responsive, modular, and maintainable web applications
- Experience translating ambitious prototypes into production-ready code with strong quality, accessibility, and user experience
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration experience with engineering, design, and product teams
- Passion for web performance metrics and high-quality user experiences
- Experience with developer tooling and automation pipelines is preferred
- Familiarity with design systems and shared component libraries is preferred
- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows is preferred
