Base Salary

$172k - $236k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Write and ship MDM policy as code, including configuration profiles, remediation scripts, and enforcement rules across macOS, Windows, and mobile with staged rollouts and rollback.
  • Build patch automation that rapidly closes exposure windows while minimizing employee disruption.
  • Manage software distribution across the device fleet.
  • Analyze fleet telemetry and build dashboards, drift alerts, and AI-assisted automation.
  • Own managed browser and extension policies, enforcing allowed and blocked software while maintaining an auditable control plane.
  • Resolve endpoint security escalations that IT Operations cannot address.
  • Partner with IT, SecOps, and engineering teams, mentor other engineers, and improve endpoint telemetry and detections.

Requirements

  • Deep macOS security experience with Jamf Pro, FleetDM, or equivalent MDM at scale.
  • Strong infrastructure-as-code fundamentals and experience delivering Terraform modules, remote state, and CI pipelines through merge requests and code review.
  • Working knowledge of Google Workspace in a managed enterprise environment, including Chrome Browser Cloud Management and extension policy enforcement.
  • A perspective on how agentic AI changes the corporate security surface.
  • Experience with open-source endpoint and device-management tooling is preferred.
  • Experience building automated progressive rollout systems based on fleet telemetry is preferred.
  • Experience managing mixed macOS, Windows, and mobile fleets, with deep expertise on at least one platform, is preferred.
  • Experience applying AI to operational problems is preferred.
