Base Salary
$130k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy agentic assistants and GenAI applications using Agent Builder, Workspace Studio, and Model Garden.
- Implement RAG pipelines, grounding, Agent2Agent integrations, and multi-agent orchestration patterns.
- Evaluate and select foundation models, then fine-tune or prompt-engineer them for client accuracy, safety, cost, and compliance needs.
- Build evaluation harnesses, regression test sets, and release-readiness checks for agent accuracy, groundedness, and hallucination rates.
- Develop live API and tool-calling integrations with client systems and collaborate on data access, deployment, monitoring, and environment management.
- Provide technical estimates, identify delivery risks, conduct code and configuration reviews, and deliver solutions from a scoped backlog.
- Create reusable playbooks, connectors, architecture documentation, and technical assets across client engagements.
Requirements
- Hands-on production experience building and deploying GenAI or agentic AI solutions such as LLM assistants, RAG pipelines, or multi-agent systems.
- Direct Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform or Vertex AI experience is strongly preferred; deep experience with AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, OpenAI, or Anthropic APIs may be considered.
- Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering, fine-tuning, grounding techniques, and preferably Gemini models or the Gemini API.
- Familiarity with the Agent2Agent protocol and multi-agent orchestration patterns.
- Working knowledge of cloud data, compute, and access-control services supporting AI workloads, including BigQuery or Snowflake, Cloud Run or GKE, and IAM.
- Production software engineering fundamentals sufficient to build maintainable integrations using Python or relevant SDKs.
- Experience building LLM or agent evaluation harnesses and regression test suites.
- Experience integrating RAG and LLM-based solutions with enterprise data sources.
- Ability to translate technical requirements from a Forward Deployed Engineer into working solutions and exercise sound model and architecture judgment.
- Google Cloud certification such as Professional Machine Learning Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect is preferred.
