Responsibilities
- Design and develop end-to-end architectural solutions aligned with enterprise standards, business requirements, and technology strategy.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate and recommend technologies, tools, and platforms based on business needs, cost, and long-term viability.
- Design and oversee integration between legacy platforms such as WebLogic and IBM MQ and modern cloud services.
- Drive adoption of Azure services, including Application Gateway and Azure Cache for Redis, for highly available and scalable solutions.
- Design Kafka-based event streaming solutions and use Kubernetes to deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications.
- Define performance and scalability requirements and ensure architectures meet them.
- Create and maintain architectural documentation, design specifications, diagrams, and technical standards.
- Mentor junior architects and developers and promote technical excellence.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of commercial Java development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Oracle database technologies, including performance tuning and schema design.
- Extensive experience designing solutions across modern cloud-native architectures and legacy systems.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure Compute, Networking, Storage, Application Gateway, and Azure Cache for Redis.
- Practical experience with Kafka, event-driven architectures, and traditional messaging systems such as IBM MQ.
- Solid experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes.
- Experience deploying and managing enterprise Java applications with WebLogic Server.
- Expertise applying Domain-Driven Design principles in real-world projects.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and other integration patterns.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, technical leadership, and stakeholder-influencing skills.
