Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust web applications and microservices using Golang and React.
- Provide feedback through code reviews and support complex technical problem solving.
- Contribute to technical decisions by identifying opportunities and risks.
- Collaborate with other teams to identify and develop integration solutions.
- Write and maintain unit, end-to-end, performance, integration, and API tests.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, reliability issues, and security vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to translate business requirements into technically sound solutions.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through pairing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Contribute to internal process and documentation improvements.
- For senior-level work, guide team members and advance discussions on coding, design, and technical tradeoffs.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of web development experience creating enterprise software using React.
- At least 5 years of professional experience building web applications and web services.
- Experience with Golang, C#, TypeScript or JavaScript, Node.js, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL or SQL Server, GCP, and Visual Studio Code.
- Experience implementing and consuming gRPC and RESTful services.
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks, ideally Scrum, and tools including Jira and Confluence.
- Knowledge of testing best practices, DevOps, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Cypress, and RestSharp.
- Ability to communicate in a team-oriented environment and deliver solutions within committed timelines.
- Experience with Git, including commits, code reviews, merge conflicts, and release tags.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or CIS, or equivalent work experience.
- Senior candidates may have at least 8 years of software engineering experience, experience guiding team members, advanced testing and communication skills, and a record of delivering high-quality software on schedule.
- Senior candidates should have experience with modern test strategies, UI and API testing, unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
