Base Salary
$119k - $203k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain performant frontend applications with JavaScript, React.js, and TypeScript.
- Build reusable accessible UI components and shared frontend patterns across Clinicals applications.
- Integrate interfaces with GraphQL APIs and backend services, including RESTful endpoints.
- Use Node.js for build tooling, server-side rendering, and lightweight middleware services.
- Analyze existing codebases and support migration to a unified React-based architecture.
- Troubleshoot UI defects, performance bottlenecks, browser compatibility issues, and accessibility concerns.
- Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews, unit testing, and end-to-end testing.
- Use AI-assisted development tools while applying engineering judgment to final decisions.
- Support deployment and release activities using Jenkins or Harness and contribute to AWS hosting activities.
- Collaborate with product, design, and backend engineering teams on requirements, API contracts, planning, and technical design.
- Document component libraries, architectural decisions, standards, and engineering conventions.
- Support onboarding and knowledge sharing for other frontend engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 6 years of professional frontend software development experience.
- Strong production experience with JavaScript and TypeScript and hands-on experience building React.js applications.
- Working knowledge of Node.js for build tooling, server-side rendering, or frontend-adjacent service development.
- Familiarity with GraphQL for client-side data fetching and API integration.
- Exposure to Perl, Oracle, AWS, Jenkins, and/or Harness is preferred.
- Experience writing maintainable, testable frontend code within an Agile software development lifecycle.
- Understanding of browser behavior, web performance optimization, and frontend debugging tools.
- Ability to collaborate with design, product, and backend engineering teams in a hybrid work environment.
