Responsibilities
- Develop data ingestion, transformation, and distribution pipelines using Python, Snowflake, and AWS.
- Build data validation, reconciliation, monitoring, and exception-handling processes.
- Develop and optimize Snowflake data models, queries, and data-processing workflows.
- Integrate data from internal systems, APIs, files, and event-driven sources.
- Contribute to component-level analysis, design, estimation, development, testing, and deployment.
- Support automated testing, CI/CD, production deployment, and operational readiness.
- Investigate production issues and implement sustainable fixes.
- Participate in code reviews, design reviews, Agile ceremonies, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders in India and the United States.
Requirements
- BE, BTech, MCA, or equivalent qualification.
- 5–8 years of software or data engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on programming experience with Python.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Practical Snowflake experience with ingestion, transformation, tables, views, stages, streams, tasks, query tuning, and performance optimization.
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, and IAM.
- Experience building and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Understanding of data quality, lineage, reconciliation, audit controls, and data security.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently and evaluate implementation options.
- Preferred experience includes event-driven or streaming data pipelines, Unix and shell scripting, Autosys, Airflow, Control-M, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, financial services, digital assets, tokenization, transaction-processing platforms, blockchain, and distributed-ledger concepts.
- AWS Developer or Solutions Architect Associate certification and Snowflake certification are preferred.
